What’s a community without it’s community members and regular contributors?
The SAP Business One Community wants to hear what you have to say!
“An independent SAP Business One Community for customers, partners and anyone with an interest in learning more about SAP Business One.”
The SAP Business One Community is an independently built and managed community for the benefit of customers and partners. The overarching goal of the community is to share knowledge and to enable SAP Business One users, with more than 80 000+ customers around the world, to make the most from their investment in the SAP Business One ERP solution.
What makes the SAP Business One Community different?
What makes this community different is that is built, funded and curated by Richard Duffy – with over 30 years of experience in IT and with SAP, he is an enthusiast who wants to share his knowledge and help others make the most of their SAP Business One investment.
By investing our time and money into this free-to-use initiative, you can be sure the site is properly monitored, and the only content you will be seeing will be relevant and useful.. no more sales pitches and dead links.
All content is specifically related to SAP Business One related topics, and we already have multiple education pieces available to read and watch!
What can I contribute?
A good piece of advice that we have always given to SAP Business One Partners when it comes to creating content for a Business One audience is to think about the most common questions, scenarios and challenges that customers or partners encounter and how they address them.
Another great approach is to think about something you learned recently and write about that – almost like a “What I learned this week”. The challenge for many first-time writers is that they are concerned that what they have to say is too obvious, too simple, or that everyone should already know it. Experience has shown us that that is far from the truth. Every week I learn something new about SAP Business One and how to use it to address a diverse range of business issues. These are always really helpful topics to write about and, when combined with some step-by-step guidance and code snippets where appropriate, make for very popular content.
If you are a first-time writer or still finding your feet and you’re concerned that maybe your writing style needs some work, don’t worry – just ask, and our editorial team will work their magic on your content and tidy it up if required, whilst making sure you still maintain authorship of the content.
Of course, if you’re an expert, then have at it! Send your contributions to Taylor at taylor@smbsolutions.com.au or Richard at richard@smbsolutions.com.au. It will then be reviewed and posted for all to learn and enjoy.
Not unlike the official SAP Community, once you have demonstrated your capabilities, we can set your access rights to enable you to post your own blogs and articles without going through an interim step.
Do I need to sign up?
If you would like to add comments or participate in upcoming forums, we would recommend signing up to the SAP Business One Community. Otherwise, the website and content is free for all to enjoy and better educate themselves on the ins and outs of SAP Business One.
