The next part of the SAP Business One 15 Minute Fundamentals Series dives into the Reporting Basics.
As you may know, there are two versions of SAP Business One – Microsoft SQL Server and Version for HANA. In this series, we see Richard using the Microsoft SQL Server version. This is because even though the functionality exists in both versions, Version for HANA has more advanced analytics and capabilities.
So as we take a look at the basics of reporting in SAP Business One, it makes sense to run through this video using the Microsoft SQL Server version again.
“Think of reports as a jumping off point into other areas of functionality in SAP Business One.”
What can I expect to see in the Reporting Basics video?
In this video, Richard runs you through the reporting basics functionality in SAP Business One. More specifically, you can expect to see the following:
- An overview of how to start generating Reports
- How to navigate the Reports tab
- An example of how to run an Inactive Customers Report
- The differences and similarities between the available Reports
- What are Marketing Documents/Forms
- How to navigate and utilise the Layout and Sequence function
- How to find and use Layout Designer to manage your report layout
This video is just the reporting basics – there is a lot more detail and functionality available, particularly if you are running SAP Business One Version for HANA.
Join us next week at the SAP Business One Community blog page as we continue our SAP Business One 15 Minute Fundamentals Series.
