Continuing on with the SAP Business One 15 Minute Fundamentals Series is the Sales Orders video.

Richard launches straight into a sales order and references back to the last two videos in the series, The Sales Module Part 1 and 2, regularly throughout. If you have not yet watched these videos or read our blog post series, we would suggest going back to do this first.

“SAP Business One gives you access to the information you need, when you need it.”

What can I expect to see in the Sales Orders video?

In this video, Richard has taken a look back at the last 2 videos for the Sales Module (reminder: watch Part 1 and Part 2 if you haven’t already!) and realised the Sales Orders process, and screen needs to have a little more detail explained.

You can see SAP Business One Version 9.3 is being used in this video. If you’re using a more recent version of SAP Business One, you will notice there may be a slight difference, but the screens are similar in layout and structure.

You can expect to see the following in this video:

  • The difference between an Item Order and a Service Order
  • What is a nonstock item
  • How to create a Sales Order
  • How to navigate the Logistics tab
  • How to navigate the Accounting tab
  • Learn how the Toolbar changes depending on which screen you’re on
  • How the right click shows similar and different options to the Toolbar
  • The different functionalities available with the right click in different areas of a Sales Order
  • How to complete a Gross Profit Calculation from a Sales Order

At the end of the video, Richard begins to introduce the next video topic in the series – the Delivery Process.
